JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks, to efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods in our operations and ensuring that all shipping and receiving tasks are completed accurately and on time.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in operating clamp trucks and other forklift equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with materials handling best practices.
• Competence in using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Experience working with pallet jacks and cranes is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
• Perform heavy lifting and materials handling as required to support warehouse operations.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure operational goals are met.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
• Use pallet jacks and cranes as needed for various material handling tasks.
