  • Position: Forklift Operator
  • Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, Full Time, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Pay Rate: $20/hr
  • Location: Bergen County, NJ
  • Experience: 3 years of warehouse experience
    We are pleased to announce a new job opening! PrideStaff, a well-known staffing agency, has partnered with a global freight forwarding company in Moonachie, NJ to seek a Warehouse Associate - Fork Lift Operator for their facility.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with warehousing experience or any combination of education and experience.
  • Bar Coding/WMS/RF System Skills/ WMS
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability to meet Company standards
  • Ability to pass CRP Forklift Operation Cert OR forklift certification is preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to meet all Departments Standards
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be active
  • Must be able to walk, kneel, bend, and reach repeatedly.
  • Good Product & Customer Knowledge
  • Be proactive

EXPERIENCE:

  • Warehouse: MIN 3 years (Required)
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks, incoming containers, loading containers, prepare air shipments, packages, LCL, and LTL via forklift and sometimes by hand (rarely)
  • Participate in a cross-training program to develop skills in all areas of warehouse operations.
  • The ability to deal with wood to build crates for cargo is a big plus
  • Utilize barcoding to properly label, put away, track, pick, and pack inventory. Prepare warehouse receipts by taking dims and weight of incoming cargo and photos.
  • Put away incoming freight, prepare and verify loading guides as dictated by operational need
  • Participate and assist with special projects, inventory movement, warehouse layout, or other movement of goods as needed. Including determining equipment size and quantity required per shipment, as dictated by operational need
  • Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse by moving recyclable and non-recyclable goods to the proper collection containers.
  • Participate in the cycle and annual inventory counts/recounts
  • Comply with all companies. TSA and OSHA-regulated safety codes
  • Maintain cleanliness of company-issued machinery and tools
  • Overtime as necessary
