Description This position involves driving a sit-down industrial forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials on the production floor, warehouse, and trailer with and without pallets. Key Duties and Responsibilities Transport unfinished and finished jobs or goods into the correct areas Move goods for jobs in process to appropriate areas as needed Inspect incoming product Load and unload trailers Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues May confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area Maintain a safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor Job Type: Full-time Requirements Schedule: 10 - 12 hour shift Monday to Saturday Experience: Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred) Warehouse management: 1 year (Preferred) Propane-powered Sit-down Forklift: 1 year (Required)

Responsibilities

The Forklift Operator is responsible for transporting goods within the warehouse and production areas, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. They must also inspect incoming products and notify supervisors of any issues.
