Description The Forklift Operator will ensure the safe and efficient operation of sit-down forklift equipment to move, load, and unload shipments of various sizes while maintaining a fast-paced, team-oriented, and safety-driven environment. Summary of Essential Job Functions Pick and prepare material for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to load counts. Verify load accuracy, inspect for product damage, and report discrepancies as necessary. Manually stack 55-pound bags following customer instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all work instructions, safety procedures, and workplace policies. Comply with OSHA and SDS standards. Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues immediately. Perform LP tank changes as needed, monitoring power sources for equipment. Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and participate in physical inventory counts. Communicate concerns or issues promptly to warehouse leads or management. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's license. Basic computer skills. Flexibility to work 12-hour variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 55 pounds and working at heights or in small spaces. Special Position Requirements Must be willing to work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
