JOB DESCRIPTION

The person in this role will be responsible for assisting the yard manager with inventory and maintaining adequate supply of material for the shop production workers. Daily tasks would include:

• Loading and unloading trucks of lumber
• Supplying the production lines with the material required
• Daily inventory spot checks to maintain high accuracy
• Keeping the small tool area clean and organized, notifying the appropriate manager when levels are low
• General shop organization
• tool organization on each production line

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 2+ years of forklift experience
• Skills: organized, self starter. forklifting, excel
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain high levels of organization
• Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• daily/weekly lumber inventory counts
• Forklift operating
