This position is responsible for preparing customer orders for shipping.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Operate the Counterbalance Forklift during the shift
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods safely
• Prepare domestic and international shipments, preparation of documentation, interact with customs, commercial trucking services, and other couriers.
• Ensure a safe working environment and participate in the Internal Responsibility System where everyone shares the responsibility of safety
• Ensure that your behaviours contribute to a positive working environment, effective working relationships, and thorough communications with the team
• Follow all procedures and work instructions in accordance with the Quality Management System and actively participate in the review and updating of the system as required
• Package goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Picking component parts for production work orders
• Cutting cable
• Provide support to complete any other tasks as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

SKILLS:

• Strong computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Excellent communication both written and verbal

REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed Forklift operator - Licensed on CB and Reach
• MUST Have 2+ years of previous Forklift operating and material handling experience
• Previous shipping and warehouse experience
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent.
  Shift: Monday – Friday, Continental shift 7AM - 7PM
  Payrate: $19.43/hr
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $19.43 per hour

• Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
