REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid forklift licence (counterbalance or telehandler).
• Previous experience working in an outdoor yard or similar environment.
• Comfortable with regular heavy lifting and physically demanding work.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures in a manual handling environment.
• Flexibility to work required hours, including Saturday mornings.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Forklift Driver to join our outdoor yard team. The role involves operating forklifts to safely move, load, and unload turf and stone products, along with manual handling and heavy lifting. You will play a key part in the smooth and efficient running of the yard while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate forklifts to load and unload turf, stone, and landscaping products.
• Safely move products around the yard and prepare orders for collection or delivery.
• Assist with manual lifting and handling of heavy turf rolls, stone slabs, and bags of materials.
• Support the yard team with general duties including housekeeping and stock organisation.
• Check loads against delivery notes or order sheets for accuracy and quality.
• Follow health & safety guidelines and report any hazards or incidents to management.
• Provide excellent service to customers and drivers collecting materials from the yard.
