Followmont Transport is on the lookout for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dedicated Night Shift Team in Townsville.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be at the heart of freight movement—safely loading and unloading B-Double Trailers and Tautliner Trucks, zoning and scanning freight, and supporting reporting functions to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
This opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual with proven experience in transport or forklift operations, ready to take the next step in their career.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Full-time Commitment - Monday to Friday Roster
• Night Shift - 12:00am Start > 7:36am Finish
• Load and unload general freight from body trucks and trailers, ensuring accurate zoning to prevent misdirects
• Strap and secure freight trailers,sorting freight to ensure it reaches its destination
  Qualifications

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence
• Proven experience loading and unloading body trucks and trailers
• Previous night or afternoon shift experience (desirable)
• Willingness to complete or provide a Criminal History Check (within 3 months currency)
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high safety standards in daily operations
• Proven ability to follow and uphold company policies and procedures consistently
