We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team in the role of: FORKLIFT OPERATOR
As the Yard Hand/Forklift Operator, will work alongside other shop/yard staff to execute organizational and maintenance duties around the shop yard and operating of forklifts to load/unload product and material for shipments.
Hours of work: Monday - Thurday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (4 ten hour shifts)

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience loading and unloading flatbed trucks or in a similar role is required
• Forklift operation experience is an asset, but training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently in a busy environment.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

• Steel-toed safety boots are required.
• Willingness to work Overtime as required.

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift for the loading and unloading of the flatbed trucks and preparing loads for safe transport.

• Perform various maintenance and organizational duties around shop yard
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report maintenance and safety concerns
