JOB OVERVIEW

Hours of work (13:30 to 22:00hrs)
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling various tasks related to the management of stock and materials. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as Clarus or SAP is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.
  • Experience operating forklifts or similar materials handling equipment is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail in stock management processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling and placement.
  • Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Conduct regular stock checks and assist in managing stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Utilise mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Engage in heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are followed to maintain safety standards.
  • Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all goods are correctly logged and stored.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
