OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food distribution warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the Raymond Reach forklift, to efficiently move materials and products throughout the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working night shifts, as this is a night shift position.

SKILLS

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution operations.
• Proficiency and valid license on the Raymond Reach.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and order accuracy.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in the workplace.

• Operate Raymond Reach forklift to transport goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and storage areas.
• Perform order picking tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
