Description

Forklift Operator Full Time- $18.00 Mebane, NC Givens is Driven to Deliver- both for our customers and our employees. Since 1957 we have provided our customers a single source solution in warehouse, distribution, transportation, packing and crating and air freight services. We have been growing significantly over the last few years and continue to grow at a rapid pace. We are looking for Forklift Operators to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving, loading and unloading 53' trailers, flatbeds and containers as well as preparing material for shipping. See www.givens.com for additional information. Requirements * Unload Material to warehouse dock * Identify damaged product or shortages and report to appropriate personnel * Properly use RF scanners * Pull material from location for shipping * Load outbound trucks * Ability to operate various types of equipment to include but not limited to picker, stand up lift, and electric lifts * Shrink Wrap Pallets * Ability to meet on time performance metrics * Comply with policies/procedures including safety procedures * Other duties as assigned * Works to accomplish the Givens Mission every day through a dedication to the Givens Values of Integrity, Family, Drive Experience Needed * High school diploma or GED required * Basic Math skills Necessary * Valid forklift certificate or ability to obtain * Excellent hand eye coordination Benefits * Starts at $18.00 per hour * Holiday Pay * PTO * 401K * Medical Benefits
