Responsibilities As Transloader/forklift operator, you will: Operate forklifts and other equipment as required Transload bulk material to pneumatic trailers Perform labour tasks as needed Perform quantity and quality checks of materials Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment Work in adherence to all safe work practices, procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crew Provide internal and external Customer Service excellence Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager You Possess Previous experience operating equipment is required Previous experience in a safety sensitive environment is required Ability to climb ladders and lift 50lbs A strong work ethic and a positive attitude A strong safety mindset Ability to prioritize a daily workload in a fast paced and dynamic environment Previous experience on forklifts is an asset Previous experience on a shunt truck is an asset Previous warehouse experience is an asset Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment Needs to be responsible, accountable and dependable Demonstrates strong communication skills both verbally and written Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Responsibilities

The Transloader/forklift operator will be responsible for operating forklifts, transloading bulk material to pneumatic trailers, and performing necessary quantity and quality checks of materials. This role also requires performing routine maintenance on equipment and adhering strictly to all safe work practices and regulatory requirements.
