Job Description 💲 $21.43/hr 📍 Rock Island, IL 🕒 Monday–Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm Position: At Techo-Bloc, we’re not just moving pallets — we’re moving careers forward. Our yard team plays a key role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role is a great fit for someone with forklift experience who wants stability and steady hours. What You’ll Do: Safely operate forklift to load and unload products from commercial vehicles and put away finished goods. Receive and physically inspect products to ensure quality standards. Bring consumables to the production areas as needed Always maintain equipment in an operating function and cleaned at the end of each shift. Partners with the yard supervisor to handle discrepancies, malfunctions, and potential issues. Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Collaboratively works with team to take on additional duties as needed Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities: 1+ year of sit-down forklift experience (required) An Excellent Communicator; actively reports on issues and progress. Ability to work safely in an outdoor industrial environment Safety-Focused; Operates equipment according to safety standards. Time Management; comfortable with time-driven deadlines and goals.
