SUMMARY

As a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate, you will be essential in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in heavy lifting and order picking, along with premium skills in forklift operation and inventory control. Your role will involve loading and unloading shipments, managing warehouse distribution, and operating heavy equipment safely. With a focus on accuracy and efficiency, you will contribute to the overall success of our logistics team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:

  • Operate lifting devices, e.g. Raymond Reach and Counterbalance
  • Operate in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Manually load and unload materials from pallets and skids
  • Accurately ship and receive product
  • Manual order picking of various products within the warehouse.
  • Support inventory control with accurate documentation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations – including daily inspections of forklift and complete checklists
  • Perform routine maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Contribute to teamwork and co-operation with other team members
  • Reliability to attend work is essential
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or Warehouse Associate
  • Strong skills in heavy lifting and order picking
  • Familiarity with warehouse distribution and inventory control systems
  • Competence in shipping and receiving processes
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $16.55-$22.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week
