Please note this is a temporary position with a work schedule ranging from 30 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Flexibility for occasional overtime may be required based on operational needs.
Under the authority of the Warehouse Manager, the Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving and shipping, stock transfer between BIN locations, and inventory count. The operator will also contribute to ensuring customer satisfaction by supporting accurate and timely order processing.
Key Functions
Forklift operation : ~50% of the time

General Laborer / Material handling : ~50% of the time

• Operating a Forklift
• Loading loads to our customers
• Unload products from our suppliers and put away products in correct location
• Order picking and verify accuracy of orders picked (e.g. product name, size, etc.)

Qualifications

• Class 1,2,4 & 5 Forklift License
• Experience in a tire distribution center is a strong asset
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Stand-Up Reach, Stand-up counterbalanced forklifts (dockstocker) or Clamp Truck
• High School Diploma preferred
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• First Aid Level 1 (an asset)

• Good attendance history

Physical Requirements

• Lifting, raising, bending, and pushing
• Must be able lift 70lbs, repetitively
• Standing for extended periods of time
