We are looking for a full-time Forklift Production Operator for our Midnight to join our busy Future Transfer team!

  • Midnight shift: 10:30 pm - 7:00 am, Monday to Friday

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Operator is responsible for the efficient packaging, repackaging and/or production of various products according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.

Job Duties:

  • Meet customers’ packaging requirements by: Filling containers to proper specifications, labeling containers according to instructions, filling in paperwork as required, and manually packaging tasks as needed
  • Operate packaging equipment including filling machines, cappers, boxers etc.
  • Handle customer product with care, ensuring compliance with finished goods specifications
  • Unload tankers or railcars (asset, not required)
  • Use RF scanners to track production and inventory
  • Perform regular quality checks on packaging lines to ensure product integrity
  • Clean empty containers using pressure washers and wash bays
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment, adhering to daily housekeeping standards
  • Participate in repetitive motion tasks and manually lifting on the production line
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors

Required Knowledge:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability of following supervisor instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Forklift experience an asset

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Manual dexterity for operating various production lines.
  • Ability to follow instructions and successfully complete the training provided
