Job Details Level: Entry Job Location: Chambersburg, PA - Chambersburg, PA Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Shift: Day Forklift Receiver $1,500 Retention Bonus and 80 Hours of Paid Time Off after first 90 days of employment JOB SUMMARY Receivers: Account for accurate deliveries from outside vendors/suppliers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES FOR RECEIVERS Actively observe and promote BWISE safety standards Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributor. Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck. Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around stockroom. Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments. Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items. Checks shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for. Contacts seller or distributor to resolve shipment discrepancies. Stores, restocks, and shelves delivery items as necessary. Ensures that stockroom is clean and organized. Processes transfers for shipments moving on to another location. Maintains records of all received shipments. Conducts inventory of products, and logs data into inventory database Contacts distributor to inquire about shipment delays or problems. Reports any major or unresolved shipment delays or problems to management. Addresses and answers customer inquiries about pending orders and shipments. Other duties, as assigned by Purchasing Supervisor. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be capable of standing for entire shift and sit for extended periods of time. Able to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to demonstrate full range of motion for reaching, bending, kneeling and stooping. Will be exposed to extreme heat and cold depending on weather. Subject to dirt, dust, oil, welding fumes, traffic hazards, and high noise levels in the workplace. Operate powered industrial trucks and industrial tractors PPE REQUIREMENTS Steel-toed shoes or composite shoes Safety glasses Earplugs Gloves when handling any material MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or GED Must be able to read, write, count, communicate by various channels. Manufacturing related experience

Responsibilities
