QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical certification preferred.
  • 2 - 4 or more years of forklift maintenance experience in a service technician role in the material handling industry preferred.
  • Other maintenance experience will be considered (military, automotive/diesel, building maintenance, etc.)
  • Must have own hand tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical operations.
  • Welding experience a plus.
  • Dock leveler and roll-up door experience, a plus.
  • Have a valid NV Driver’s license and a safe driving record.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Answers phone calls from technicians and customers, providing technical support to fix issues.
  • Assists technicians to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair issues properly.
  • Perform forklift planned maintenance services and breakdown repairs.
  • Maintain a company service vehicle and parts inventory.
  • Perform in a team environment.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a good attendance record.
  • Maintain positive customer relations and approach all situations in a tactful and professional manner.
  • Lift 50 lbs or more.
