The Field Service Technician is responsible for the diagnosis and repair of forklifts at our customer locations. The Field Service Technician will be provided a company service van with parts inventory to provide repairs. Job Duties: * Answers phone calls from technicians and customers, providing technical support to fix issues. * Assists technicians to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and repair issues properly. * Perform forklift planned maintenance services and breakdown repairs. * Maintain a company service vehicle and parts inventory. * Perform in a team environment. * Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a good attendance record. * Maintain positive customer relations and approach all situations in a tactful and professional manner. * Lift 50 lbs or more. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical certification preferred. * 2 - 4 or more years of forklift maintenance experience in a service technician role in the material handling industry preferred. * Other maintenance experience will be considered (military, automotive/diesel, building maintenance, etc.) * Must have own hand tools. * Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical operations. * Welding experience a plus. * Dock leveler and roll-up door experience, a plus. * Have a valid NV Driver’s license and a safe driving record. * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear and concise manner. * Basic computer knowledge.
