SCHEDULE: 1st shift 5:30 am - 2:30 pm Monday-Friday

We are looking for Warehouse Associates with reach truck and stand up and sit down Forklift experience, to join our team in Burnsville, MN. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.

SUMMARY

The warehouse forklift Associate is responsible for receiving, shipping, and stocking products. Operates reach trucks, stand-up lifts, sit-down forklifts, scissor lifts, and riding pallet jacks, and is responsible for performing necessary tasks for the shipping and/or receiving of orders.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to drive a variety of forklifts, stand-up, sit-down, scissor lift and reach.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and rules.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent projects requiring judgement and initiative
  • Proficiency using MS Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Excellent listening skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work with Warehouse ERP systems.
Responsibilities
  • Operate power equipment/machinery after receiving the proper safety training and authorization.
  • Perform duties such as receiving, shipping, cleaning, organizing, WIP moving or RTS as needed.
  • Complete transactions and research errors in inventory to keep product current and from expiring.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Inventory materials on the work floor, and supply Associates with materials as needed.
  • Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
  • Shrink wraps pallets and products on pallets.
  • Conduct and document pre-operation inspections of powered industrial trucks. Report all defects.
  • Promptly report any suspected defects in equipment or other potentially hazardous conditions or practices.
  • Adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Adherence to SQF (Safe Quality Food).
  • Adherence to all safety policies.
  • Report immediately all accidents and injuries, no matter how insignificant, to the supervisor.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Maintain behaviors that support our CORE VALUES.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Schedules, verifies, and keeps records of shipping and receiving orders.
  • Allocates orders in the system and works with the shipping department to ensure paperwork is accurate.
  • Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer..
  • Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Schedules, verifies, and keeps records of shipping and receiving orders.
  • Allocates orders in the system and works with the shipping department to ensure paperwork is accurate.
  • Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.
