Description

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Forklift Drivers/Warehouse Workers for an upcoming contract assignment in Southwestern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.
Please note this is a temporary contract position, so it may not be suitable to someone currently working full time

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Valid Forklift license (Class 1, 2 & 4 preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Attention to detail & strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, technical and communication skills
  • Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
  • Availability for 12-hour shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Dayshift Availability (7 a.m.- 7 p.m.) or Nightshift Availability (7 p.m.- 7 a.m.)

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trailers
  • Shrink Wrapping materials
  • Labelling product
  • Wash containers/vessels when needed
  • Empty garbage
  • Dispense materials and products into required containers
  • Documentation and labelling duties.
  • Operate forklift and other related material handling machinery
  • Use RF Scanner for inventory control
  • Inspection and unloading of received goods
  • Ability to follow set procedures
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the nature of the job
