At Asap Cargo Ltd we specialise in freight logistics and have offices in the UK and Ireland working with industrial, retail and corporate clients nationwide delivering bespoke international freight management solutions.
Our service is built on global experience and hands on execution, from collection, storage, delivery, warehousing and onward distribution.
We are currently looking for an experienced Forklift/Warehouse operative that can also supply relief cover as a Class 2 HGV driver to compliment our team in Northern Ireland.
You will be primarily responsible for picking, packing, loading and unloading trailers, maintaining a clean safe efficient warehouse, general administrative duties and any other adhoc tasks required by the transport manager. Driver cover will only be required Monday- Friday between the hours of 6am to 5.30pm and will consist of collecting goods to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner, multi-drop deliveries throughout Northern Ireland.

Person Specification

• Competent Forklift Skills/ Licence
• 2 years experience in a similar role and hold a HGV Class 2 Licence for at least 2 years.
• Candidate must hold a full CPC License and meet requirements for insurance purposes.
• Hands on approach to Warehousing
• Computer Literate
• Be flexible and adaptable to change
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision

The main hours are generally 48 hour week working Monday - Friday days, however an occasional Saturday morning may be required.
