TECHNICAL TRAINER – CTS DIVISION

We are looking for an experienced Technical Trainer – CTS Division to provide training activities for Service Employees, Distributors, and external customers using a variety of methods. The Technical Trainer will ensure that trainees are well-equipped to perform their job duties using best practices and are capable of adhering to service process requirements, quality, and efficiency standards. Additionally, the Technical Trainer will design, develop, and implement various training initiatives to enhance the organization’s competence in line with divisional strategies.
The Technical Trainer will also actively promote the sale of technical training courses to end users to generate additional revenue for the division. Furthermore, the Technical Trainer will provide service calls and perform repairs as needed, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational success

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of direct work experience as a technician or technical trainer in the compressor industry.
  • Direct experience assessing training needs, creating training materials, and delivering effective training programs.
  • Proven ability to train, coach, evaluate, and improve others.

KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION

  • College diploma or university degree in human resources, communications, or adult education, or an acceptable combination of field experience and education.
  • Knowledge of motivational, perceptual, and emotional forces and how they affect the learning process.
  • Direct knowledge of training methodologies.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in English and French.
  • Strong presentation skills using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and LCD projectors.
  • Ability to customize training materials to suit individual and organizational needs.
  • Excellent listening, observing, and questioning skills.
  • Positive, motivated, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Dedication to safe work practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Identify relevant training needs, documentation, and opportunities.
  • Track participant enrollment, progress, marks, and other information by maintaining a database. Monitor and review trainee progress through questionnaires and discussions with managers.
  • Amend ISO policies and procedures when required.
  • Manage costs of planned programs and stay within established budgets.
  • Coordinate training schedules, locations, and materials.
  • Organize, develop, and update training materials, procedure manuals, guides, and course materials such as handouts and visual aids.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay updated with developments in training by reading relevant journals, attending meetings, and participating in relevant courses.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of e-learning techniques.
  • Comply with the organization’s environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts, and quality assurance policies and standards.
  • Perform special studies and carry out special assignments as required by supervision.
  • In coordination with service managers, propose tool investment plans to enhance service efficiency and safety.
