Overview:
Direct, coordinate, and evaluate the plant operations to achieve finished products on time, of high quality, at targeted quantity, within established cost objectives, while maintaining established levels for both work in process and finished inventories.

Responsibilities:

• Exercise direct control of production, quality, volume, cost, schedule and inventory target compliance.
• Assure production levels are attained by anticipating needs, establishing goals, and determining priorities.
• Determine direct and indirect manning requirements to maximize throughput with minimum manning.
• Anticipate equipment/tooling needs, make recommendations, and develop alternatives to avoid production down time.
• Meet budget limitations for total unit cost.
• Direct and lead the plant Continuous Improvement team. Encourage and submit cost savings measures.
• Actively promote safety and health programs by setting an example, developing processes, insisting on clean and orderly work areas, and maintaining low blood leads and good work habits.
• Meet or exceed product quality specifications as evidenced by QCPC and turn-back rations within established guidelines.
• Recognize potential in subordinates and take affirmative action to develop and promote employees, while establishing inclusion and accountability.
• Promote cooperation between shifts, assure excellent communication avenues, and provide recognition.
• Promptly review disciplinary problems and recommend action.
• Comply with current Quality Systems requirements.
• Follow Excel Lean Manufacturing procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Skills Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, Technical or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors, engineers, visitors, and corporate officials.
• 5+ years of Sr. Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer knowledge and skills; MS Office, Google.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to Perform continuous walking, standing, and lifting.

• PC and General Office Equipment.
