Responsibilities

As a Formation Evaluation Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing Petrophysical interpretation and integrated Formation Evaluation.
  • Understand the formation evaluation objective and challenges of the operator to design and provide an integrated and innovative solution.
  • Recognizing Formation Evaluation, drilling, and production-related problems and providing solutions to mitigate or eliminate these drilling problems and Formation Evaluation challenges.
  • Providing advice to optimize the selection of LWD, wireline, coring, and mud logging services for an integrated formation evaluation solution.
  • Explaining the formation evaluation data and interpretation results to the operators
  • Delivering technical presentations on the LWD, wireline, coring, and mud logging services.
  • Documenting the solution, generate case studies, and write technical papers

To be successful in this role, you are required to:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, Petrophysics, and/or Geosciences (related to Earth Science);
  • Show great experience in Formation Evaluation, Petrophysics, geology, wireline and LWD logging, Mud logging, and Coring services.
  • Show in-depth knowledge of LWD and wireline tools, measurement principles, and application
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in well construction and drilling processe
