As a Formulated Technical Manager at Sainsbury’s, you will lead the management and delivery of all technical aspects of Sainsbury’s Brand product and technical plans for the formulated product area, focusing on ensuring safe, legal, and high-quality products that meet our customer’s needs and align with our Net Zero commitments.
You will work collaboratively with suppliers, product developers, trading, supply chain, and retail teams to drive the quality and technical agenda for your product area, overseeing the safety, legality, and quality of Sainsbury’s brand products to maintain brand reputation and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve setting appropriate quality standards, managing accurate product information, conducting detailed investigations on product issues, and delivering on complaints reduction action plans, all while driving technical innovation and developing strategies to enhance product quality and drive sustainability through building robust supply chains.
