Position Summary: The Production Formulator I, under the direct supervision of the Production Shift Foreman, is responsible for operating production equipment, performing troubleshooting and maintenance, and supervising assigned labor. The formulator ensures the correct formulation of products, including verifying raw materials and ingredients, processing batches, and maintaining accurate records. This role involves working in conjunction with production and packaging operations at the Plant. Job Status: * Full-Time * Non-Exempt * Reports to: General Operations  Role Responsibilities: * Operate production equipment and systems in accordance with company procedures. * Perform troubleshooting, minimal maintenance, and adjustment functions under direct supervision. * Supervise assigned labor in the assigned area of production. * Verify raw material identification and package weights before use. * Ensure accuracy in ingredients and weights for staged batches. * Process batches according to manufacturing instructions. * Record complete and accurate data on quality records. * Assist with other production and packaging operations as required. Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience / Skills / Abilities: * Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. * Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. * Basic math and communication skills as they relate to assigned tasks. * Ability to supervise assigned labor effectively. * Working knowledge of safety policies, waste disposal, and quality systems. * Ability to operate equipment and tools used in production. * Capable of working in confined spaces. Job Expectations / Working Conditions: * Regularly required to move throughout a production building and plant site. * Regularly required to descend/ascend stairs. * Regularly required to lift and/or move objects weighing 5-50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs. * Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing required. * Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
