SUSTAINABLE PRECAST COMPANY Pty Ltd (SPC Australia) is a construction business operating across NSW. SPC Australia is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a Full-time position with 38-hour basic weeks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field
• Carpentry/ concrete: 2 years (Required)
• Construction White Card

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• Safety procedures knowledge
• Positive, can do attitude and enjoy working in inclusive team
• Valid Driving License and transport desirable

THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting skilled formwork carpenters for a permanent, full–time position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Selecting and ordering materials required and prepare layouts
• Making formwork from timber, plywood or plastic and steel as per shop drawings
• Measuring and cutting wood or metal
• Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
• Safely operating hand and power tools
• Prepared to assist other trades
