FORMWORK CARPENTER – MOORABBIN, VIC

Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are working with a vigorously growing building firm, operating across the construction market. This firm specialises in all types of concrete placing and finishing such as formwork, steel fixing, precast panel installation, and many more.
As our client’s business continues to grow, they are now seeking an experienced and qualified Formwork Carpenter to welcome into their dynamic and productive team and help them deliver on a range of exciting new projects. The role is full-time and ongoing with a great salary package in the range of $100k to $120k plus superannuation per annum is on the offer.
Location – Firmisbased in Moorabbin, VIC, while the project can take you across the metro area and as necessary, beyond.

• Read and adhere to all safety requirements and SWMS (safe work methods).
• Read drawings and specifications to identify formwork and temporary work requirements.
• Building and constructing drainage.
• Install and position horizontal and vertical formwork components including drilling and installing hold down bolts and fasteners to walls/floors where required.
• Assemble formwork panels on-site including installation of metal props, brackets, and clamps.
• Strip formwork using physical and mechanical means.
• Working at heights.
• Working off EWP’s, scissor lifts and scaffolding.
• Working with and around chemicals such as form oils, curing agents, epoxy, sealants, mortar, and grout.
• Working with a sense of camaraderie and pride.
