We are currently recruiting Carpenters to join our Concrete Division for fast-paced, challenging projects in Metro Vancouver, BC. This role reports to the Foreman/Forewoman. Why Join Us? Competitive wages — negotiable and based on experience Cellphone allowance (if applicable) Employer-paid health, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family Life and travel insurance RRSP matching up to 4% of regular earnings Year-round, full-time work Opportunities for advancement — wage increases and promotions regularly extended to those who show initiative, work hard, and take pride in quality workmanship Key Responsibilities Build and assemble formwork (loose form and gang form) for concrete structures Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and shop drawings Install, align, and secure formwork and other construction components Pour and finish concrete as required Erect and dismantle scaffolding and temporary supports Measure, cut, shape, and join materials using hand and power tools Follow safety procedures and ensure work areas are safe and clean Work collaboratively with the Foreman/Forewoman and other trades on site Assist with the handling and placement of reinforcing steel, embeds, and other items cast in concrete Maintain tools and equipment in good working order Working Conditions Long-term, steady, year-round work Overtime available Two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch per day Working at heights may be required Qualifications & Competencies Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in concrete formwork 2- 5 years Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Positive safety-first attitude, punctuality, and reliability Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions Good teamwork and communication skills Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Journeyperson Carpenter ticket or equivalent experience preferred CSTS 2020 certification (can be provided) Fall Protection ticket (can be provided) High-rise construction experience considered an asset Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Pagnotta Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
