Responsibilities

32.5hrs/week Monday – Friday working split shifts between the breakfast club and OOS.
(full time hours may be required during school holidays and In-Service Days)
£28,385.32/pro rata annum based on 32.5 hours per week
The successful applicant will take on the role of registered manager in line with the Care Inspectorate and Scottish Social Services Council requirements. They will lead a small team of Out Of School Practitioners, in the delivery of a high quality out of school care service, where children are picked up from Trinity Primary School. They must be able to provide support and supervision for childcare workers and liaise with parents on a regular basis.
This post will also now include the delivery of a new Breakfast Club which will service Trinity Primary School children at Fort Early Years Centre each morning from 7:30am providing a breakfast and activities before walking the children to their school lines ready to be in class for bell time.
The post of Fort Out Of School & Breakfast Club Co-ordinator requires the successful applicant to work shifts Monday to Friday across an established out of school and breakfast care service and ensuring the service quality standards are maintained to the highest levels, allowing the organisation to achieve the best possible results from Care Inspectorate inspections.
All candidates must possess relevant experience of working with primary school aged children and the ability to provide an exciting play/care setting that matches children’s needs and interests.
Direct line management experience of 4 or more staff is desirable and a clean driving license is essential.
Applicants must already have, currently working towards, or be willing to work towards a BA in Childhood Practice or equivalent.

  • Work in the UK and have the relevant documents to prove this.
