• Assist with the planning, purchasing, execution, and monitoring of industrial and petrochemical construction projects.
• Coordinate with a powerhouse team of fabricators, general contractors, architects, engineers, and more.
• Keep projects moving by developing schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage and maintain project documents like contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Conduct onsite visits to make sure everything is safe, compliant, and up to FORTRESS’s high-quality standards.
• Identify potential risks and work with the team to develop smart solutions.
• Support procurement by coordinating supplier relationships and material deliveries.
• Travel up to 50% to project sites (mostly Gulf Coast, but maybe further—adventure awaits!).
• Help with project estimating, bid management, and keeping subcontractors aligned.
• Track and manage change orders, punch lists, and closeout documents.
