About the Role We're seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical anchor between client infrastructure and our engineering capabilities. In this role, you'll be stationed full-time at the client site to troubleshoot complex systems, optimize our deployed AI platform, and ensure seamless technical delivery and ongoing stability. You'll help strengthen customer trust and accelerate value realization across our healthcare implementations. This role is on-site, based in Charlotte, NC, and requires U.S. work authorization. What You’ll Do Partner with clients and internal engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on Linux systems and IoT infrastructure Manage and monitor hybrid environments, containerized applications, and Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability Design and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible to improve consistency and reduce deployment risks Lead technical presentations, training sessions, and knowledge transfer with clients and internal stakeholders Gather and analyze technical requirements to inform implementation strategies and ensure successful deployments Identify opportunities to optimize performance, enhance client satisfaction, and proactively mitigate risks Communicate progress, technical challenges, and recommendations clearly across teams and to non-technical audiences What You Have 7+ years of experience in Enterprise IT and/or DevOps with a track record of managing complex technical implementations Demonstrated expertise administering Debian-based Linux systems (e.g., Ubuntu) with strong troubleshooting capabilities Comfort working with configuration management tools like Ansible and TCP/IP networking in cloud and physical environments Experience supporting containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style with both technical and non-technical stakeholders A thoughtful, proactive approach to risk mitigation and customer relationship management Bonus Points For Software engineering background or a degree in Computer Science/Engineering Experience with Python scripting, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms Exposure to PostgreSQL database management, particularly clustered environments Prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or similar field-based technical role Why You’ll Enjoy This Role Impact: Your work directly enables healthcare providers to deliver better patient care through reliable, optimized AI-powered virtual care platforms Growth: You'll develop deep expertise in AI healthcare infrastructure while building skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional technical leadership Team: You'll collaborate with Cloud Engineers, Software Engineers, and customer IT teams while serving as the trusted technical face of Artisight Artisight is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities are welcomed and valued.
