This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 2500000 (ie INR 15-25 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time The Forward-Deployed Engineer (FDE) will design, build, and deploy production-grade GenAI systems that solve complex, business-critical problems. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, AI, and customer delivery—owning outcomes from concept to production. You will work closely with enterprise customers across regulated and performance-sensitive environments where accuracy, reliability, compliance, and auditability are non-negotiable. If you enjoy translating cutting-edge AI research into dependable systems that directly impact business metrics, this role offers hands-on ownership and real-world impact. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end delivery of AI solutions: system design, implementation, deployment, and production monitoring. Build full-stack solutions across frontend (Next.js), backend services (FastAPI / Node.js), and data or ML pipelines as required. Develop and optimize agentic workflows aligned to measurable KPIs such as accuracy, resolution time, SLA adherence, CSAT, and cost efficiency. Design and productionize robust RAG systems including retrieval routing, evaluation frameworks, grounding with exact citations, guardrails, and multimodal inputs. Build automated browser and workflow solutions using Playwright or RPA-style approaches for enterprise tools (CRM, ticketing systems, knowledge bases, ERP modules). Productionize LLM applications with prompt engineering, memory, caching, safety layers, and cost/latency optimization. Ensure system reliability through observability, tracing, load testing, red-teaming, incident response, and feature-flagged rollouts. Partner directly with customer stakeholders to understand workflows, translate ambiguous requirements into shipped solutions, and iterate rapidly. Contribute to team excellence by documenting best practices, sharing delivery playbooks, and supporting hiring and mentorship efforts. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience building production-grade GenAI systems. Hands-on expertise with LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows. Proficiency in Python and TypeScript. Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI or Node.js. Frontend experience with modern frameworks (Next.js or similar). Familiarity with browser automation, workflow automation, or RPA tools. Strong understanding of system reliability, observability, and performance optimization. Ability to work directly with customers and take ownership of business outcomes.
