Description

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with hands-on experience in Palantir Foundry and AIP to work directly with customers, understand complex business problems, and build scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working at the intersection of software engineering, data engineering, and client consulting. Key Responsibilities Partner with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Palantir Foundry. Develop ontology models and business objects to support enterprise use cases. Integrate data from multiple source systems (5+ data sources) into Foundry. Build complex data transformations and optimize pipeline performance. Configure and implement Foundry applications and AIP workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Prepare technical documentation and provide client-facing demonstrations. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing solutions. Support deployment, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills 2–4 years of software/data engineering experience. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP. Strong experience in: Foundry Pipelines Ontology Modeling Data Integration Pipeline Development Complex Data Transformations Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems. Strong SQL skills. Proficiency in Python or Java. Understanding of APIs, ETL, and data engineering concepts. Experience with Git and Agile development practices. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments Collaborative mindset with ability to work across teams
