Responsibilities

Supervise children and adolescents in the dependency system.
Provide therapeutic activities one-on-one to children and adolescents.
Provide crisis management and de-escalation skills to children and adolescents with trauma and other mental health diagnoses.
Demonstrate and model positive behaviors (i.e., anger management skills, coping skills, and emotion regulation).
Teach children and adolescents independent living skills through a variety of experiential tasks and interventions.
Cook and serve meals to the children and adolescents in the program.
Clean rooms when children and adolescents leave and prepare them for future youth entering the program.
Grocery shop, do dishes, laundry, and other chores around the home.
Must be able to be on your feet for the majority of your work.
Transport children and adolescents to appointments and activities in your own vehicle. Must have your own vehicle with a valid driver’s license, registration, and car insurance.
Administer medications to children and adolescents.
Provide documentation within required time frames in Electronic Medical Record (i.e. Carelogic).
Must have ability to operate technological programs, such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office 365 emails, and other programs, as needed
