In our Professional Support Service, you’ll play a vital role, supporting Children’s Services on an administrative basis, you’ll contribute significantly to Children’s Services, ensuring positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families. What is the job role?
Come and join us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service’s journey. We are a team that works with colleagues at all levels across Children and Education Services to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City.
This role will be based in the Fostering Service and will support Fostering Panels. This will include; ensuring a smooth and efficient process in preparation for, during and after the Fostering Panel, producing comprehensive electronic minutes from Panel in accordance with the Fostering Regulations and ensuring a positive and professional experience for prospective Foster Carers. You will work closely with the Panel Chair and members and liaise with Social Workers to complete any required after Panel work, such as distributing outcomes and recording those on the in-house case management system.
You will be required to support improvement and Ofsted priorities in Children’s Services and continue to work towards making a difference in improving the lives of Children, Families and Young People.

Responsibilities

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
