Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for managing your own caseload, providing high-quality supervision and guidance to foster carers, and playing a key part in our commitment to outstanding outcomes for children and young people. This is a community-based role, so the ability to manage your time effectively and work independently is essential. You will work remotely, so must be self sufficient.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hold and manage a small caseload of foster carers, ensuring tailored support and interventions that meet the needs of children in placement (max 10 families - but more like 6).
  • Provide regular supervision, advice and support to foster carers, ensuring best practice and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Undertake thorough assessments, reviews and reports to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Work closely with a range of professionals, partner agencies and stakeholders to secure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records in line with organisational policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Act as an advocate for children and carers, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights upheld.
