ROLE DESCRIPTION

To assist with the smooth running of the school reception/office undertaking administrative duties as required.
This role is term time only, plus 3 additional weeks. This position is to start as soon as possible.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure a professional “front-of-house” response to all telephone calls, emails and in-person enquiries from parents, staff and other members of the community.
  • Assist with the smooth running of the administration tasks for the busy Senior School office.
  • Manage the office email account.
  • Daily use of ParentMail to communicate with our parents and guardians and manage items for payment.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of school events such as Open Days, Entrance testing, concerts, and parent events.
  • Ensure all student records are kept updated on the Management Information System (iSAMS).
  • Maintain and update Daily News and Student Blog.
  • Take minutes of meetings as necessary (training can be provided).
  • Support medical room as and when required (First Aid training will be provided).
  • Cover of reception, providing excellent customer service to all visitors when needed.
  • Provide cover at the other school office sites across Stephen Perse sites as required.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as an excellent ambassador for Stephen Perse at all times.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with all Stephen Perse colleagues.
  • Assist as necessary in other Stephen Perse areas at peak times.
  • Work at all times towards the aims and goals of Stephen Perse and any individual objectives and targets you may have agreed.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvements within Stephen Perse.
  • Actively promote Stephen Perse Equal Opportunities Policy, encouraging staff awareness and participation in all areas.
  • Act in accordance with the Data Protection principles at all times.
  • Adhere at all times to Stephen Perse operational and employment policies and procedures.
