Description Location: Monticello, Illinois Shift: Day shift Schedule: Average 20-30 hours per week/should be flexible with time. Job Summary: Kirby Medical Center is seeking a fundraising intern who will support the activities of The Kirby Foundation. The intern will provide management and support to fundraising activities and communications efforts. The intern will work closely with the Director of Development. Requirements Principal Responsibilities Candidate should have an interest in philanthropy and the mission of The Kirby Foundation. Assist in creating engaging content for the Foundation’s social media platforms, enhancing the online presence and outreach efforts. Support the coordination of fundraising campaigns, including developing campaign messages. Assist with accounting tasks related to donations, including tracking incoming contributions and preparing summary reports. Help manage and maintain the donor database, ensuring information is accurate and up to date. Support the donor acknowledgement process.
