QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4 /C or Equivalent Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
  • Level 4 qualification in the relevant area of expertise (or commitment to achieving this in the required timeframe)
  • Level 5 Teaching qualification (or commitment to achieving this in the required timeframe)
Responsibilities
  • To teach on courses and work to develop an outstanding provision that has a positive impact on the learner and assessment process.
  • To assist in the development of teaching and learning materials, preparing schemes of work, lesson plans and maintaining records to monitor student progression, achievement and attendance.
  • To provide appropriate and relevant guidance for students, enabling them to develop knowledge, understanding and skills. Develop student competences in the safe use of materials and equipment.
  • To liaise with the Additional Learning Support Department and contribute to annual review meetings for all students with an Education, Health Care Plan (EHCP)
