ABOUT YOU
Ideally, you are patient, empathetic, and genuinely dedicated to helping our learners progress in their education and personal development. You understand the challenges faced by students working at Entry Level and Level 1 and you know how to create a learning environment where every student feels safe, respected and encouraged to progress at their own pace.
You bring experience of teaching or supporting learners at various levels, and you are confident delivering subjects such as English, maths, personal development and employability. You are skilled at adapting your teaching to suit different learning styles and needs, and you know how to embed functional and soft skills into your lessons in a meaningful way.
You are well organised and capable of tracking learner progress, setting clear targets and maintaining accurate records. You are confident working in partnership with support staff, families and external agencies, and you understand the importance of a team approach when it comes to helping students succeed.
You will have a recognised teaching qualification or be working towards one, and you will be committed to your own professional development. Above all, you care deeply about giving every learner the chance to grow in confidence, achieve their goals and prepare for the next step in their journey.
Below is a list of some of the key skills, qualifications and experience we are seeking for this exciting opportunity.
