This person will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities across recruiting, operations, and fundraising. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
  • Based in Germany.
  • 0.5-1.5 years in roles like VC-backed startups, top consulting firms, investment banking, or other competitive operations positions. Internships also count.
Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to free the CEO’s time. Right now, it is recruiting, but you should be ready to switch hats and take on various tasks as the needs of the company evolve. We will assign you specific projects, and you’ll need to adapt quickly to new challenges. You will:

  • Source high-quality candidates for key roles, screen candidates, and manage recruitment pipelines.
  • Set up hiring pipelines at universities, coordinate outreach for junior roles, and organize recruitment events.
  • Review CVs, conduct screening calls, and coordinate later-stage interviews.
  • Organize monthly team socials and maintain HR documentation.
  • Automate people and HR processes with Zapier.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires.
  • Prepare investor reporting, create pitch decks, and support outreach to VC firms.
  • Build and manage a VC database and pipeline.
  • Organize board meetings and prepare due diligence materials.
  • Support the CEO in administrative tasks such as reviewing contracts, legal documents, and insurance documentation.
