Description
TL;DR Langfuse is looking for a Founder’s Associate (Full‑Time, on‑site in San Francisco or Berlin) to work directly with the three founders—Max, Marc, and Clemens—on the nuts‑and‑bolts of running the company and high‑velocity initiatives that unlock our next stage of growth. You will build processes (hiring, finance, people, reporting) and run “speedboat” projects to set up news processes & push Langfuse’s growth (e.g. segmenting customers, running analyses using our data stack, organizing and hosting invite-only dinners for customers & partners) This role is perfect for an ambitious, hands‑on generalist with a technical bent—you’re likely a recent graduate or early in your career. You blend technical fluency (you can use and demo Langfuse + build small applications) with commercial intuition. Why Founder’s Associate at Langfuse? Ride Shotgun with Marc & Clem: Work day‑to‑day with Marc (CEO, product/marketing) and Clemens (COO, sales). 10× Learning Curve: Work across ops, sales, finance & product You Ship: No decks or busy work - you work on what currently moves the needle Your Mandate 1) Operational Backbone People Ops: Run the end‑to‑end hiring pipeline, schedule interviews, craft job descriptions (like this one!), and ensure stellar candidate experience. Finance & Accounting: Stand up lightweight accounting processes, streamline billing, prepare investor reports. Investor Comms: Own reporting, draft updates, and keep our metrics data room ready. 2) Speedboats Product & Customers: Drive new initiatives: e.g. experiment with new messaging, gather customer feedback or build product demos to highlight Langfuse’s value. Legal, Finance & Compliance: Get us in shape to mature our company backbone. E.g. SOC2 Audits, implementing a Contract Management System, consolidating our two international entities. Fundraising Prep: Help build the narrative, model the numbers, and assemble materials for our next round. You are a Fit If… Commercial & Tech Background: Hybrid Skill - You’ve mixed coding with commercial acumen – tell us about this! This could be a side project, a prior role and so on. Technical Fluency: You can spin up Langfuse, build a demo with an LLM API, and explain our value prop to a software engineer. Process Builder: You thrive on turning chaos into a documentation page and sprinkle some n8n and SQL on top so we can tackle the next problem. Bias to Action: You’d rather bring an 80 % solution live today than perfect it over the next quarter. On‑Site Mindset: You’re excited to join us in SF or Berlin fully on-site. We can sponsor visas for both locations Compensation & Benefits Salary: 70-110k (x $1.5 in SF) Equity: Generous Equity Package Hardware & software of your choice Unlimited PTO Complementary Dinner provided Visa sponsorship if needed (Berlin & SF) About Langfuse Langfuse provides open‑source observability, evaluation, and prompt‑management tooling for LLM applications. Langfuse is used by tens of thousands of developers worldwide. We are backed by YC, Lightspeed, and General Catalyst. Langfuse is default alive and growing fast.
