Description
Location: Remote (EST hours preferred, at least 3 days per week) Type: Full-time Reporting to: CEO, CPO, CTO Role Overview We’re looking for our founding data hire to own analytics across product, growth, creators, monetization, and financial visibility. You’ll work closely with the CEO and collaborate daily with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Operations. There is no existing data infrastructure—you’ll design, build, and operationalize it from scratch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in autonomy, ambiguity, and building systems that directly influence company decisions. What You’ll Own Data Infrastructure: Build event tracking (PostHog, Mixpanel, or similar), define event taxonomy, integrate product, payments, marketing, and creator data, and ensure data accuracy and reliability (with Engineering support). Product, Growth & Retention Analytics: Define and track KPIs, analyze funnels, cohorts, retention, and monetization, support acquisition with attribution and CAC/LTV modeling, and run A/B tests and experiments. Creator & Marketplace Insights: Create dashboards for creator performance, churn risk, and marketplace health; identify high-value creators and early warning signals. Executive Reporting: Build C-level dashboards, deliver weekly insights and recommendations, and support forecasting, goals, and investor reporting. Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Engineering, Product, and Marketing to instrument tracking, test ideas, and clearly communicate insights to leadership. What We’re Looking For Must-haves: 3–6+ years of experience in data analytics (product, growth, or monetization) Experience owning data end-to-end without existing infrastructure Strong SQL skills Hands-on experience with tracking tools (PostHog, Mixpanel, GA4, etc.) Ability to turn unstructured data into clear, actionable insights Excellent English communication skills Comfortable working EST hours Thrives in fast-paced startup environments Nice-to-haves: Experience with marketplaces, creator platforms, subscriptions, or consumer apps Experience with Looker, Metabase, or Tableau Attribution and LTV modeling experience Exposure to payments, risk, or revenue operations What We Offer Competitive salary Equity in a high-growth creator platform Direct access to leadership High ownership, minimal red tape, and real impact
