As a Founding Frontend Engineer at Cenna, you will lead the creation of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our agentic services platform. Your work will define the user experience, ensuring our AI-powered products are accessible, responsive, and visually compelling. Responsibilities Design and build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies for production environments Implement pixel-perfect designs that align with product vision and user needs Optimize frontend performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility in production systems Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to integrate APIs and AI-driven features into live applications Work with product and design teams to iterate on UI/UX based on user feedback and production metrics Establish frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices for production-grade systems Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence Requirements 5+ years of frontend development experience with proven track record of shipping and maintaining production-level systems Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.js in production environments Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern UI libraries (e.g., Tailwind, Material-UI, Shadcn) Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar) in large-scale production applications Demonstrated experience building, deploying, and maintaining user-facing production systems at scale Knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility standards applied to real-world production scenarios Experience with monitoring, debugging, and optimizing production frontend applications Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot production issues Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Nice to Have Experience building production interfaces for AI-driven or data-intensive applications Knowledge of WebGL, animations, or advanced visualization techniques deployed at scale Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment to production environments Track record of handling production incidents and implementing preventive measures Contributions to open-source frontend projects used in production Prior experience in a startup or rapid-growth environment shipping production features rapidly
