About the Role On behalf of a venture-backed AI startup transforming the recruiting industry, we are hiring a Founding Recruiting Account Manager to own employer relationships end-to-end. This company operates at the intersection of AI and recruiting, helping high-growth, VC-backed startups hire top technical talent through a talent-first, agent-driven platform. They have raised pre-seed funding, have paying customers, and are now scaling employer partnerships. This role is critical to ensuring searches move quickly, clients stay aligned, and hiring outcomes convert into repeat business. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role with direct visibility to founders and measurable impact on revenue and retention. What You’ll Own Employer Relationship Management Manage a portfolio of startup clients end-to-end Serve as primary point of contact for hiring managers and founders Run kickoff calls and align on requirements, timelines, and expectations Search Execution & Alignment Partner with internal recruiters and sourcers to translate role requirements into execution Maintain weekly cadence calls, pipeline reviews, and feedback loops Identify and resolve search risks early (slow feedback, misalignment, stalled pipeline) Performance & Commercial Impact Track hiring velocity, pipeline health, and conversion metrics Drive renewals and expansions through strong delivery Surface new hiring needs and growth opportunities Foundational Impact Help define and refine the employer management playbook Build scalable processes for onboarding, reporting, and client communication What Success Looks Like Searches close quickly with minimal friction Clients feel informed, supported, and confident Clear internal coordination with nothing dropped High retention and repeat business Clean dashboards and predictable hiring outcomes What We’re Looking For 3–7 years in recruiting agency account management or client services Experience managing multiple concurrent employer relationships Strong consultative communication skills Operational discipline and strong follow-through Ability to manage stakeholders (founders, hiring managers, HR, finance) Commercial mindset focused on retention and expansion Nice to Have In-house recruiting or HR partnership experience Experience supporting high-growth startup hiring Familiarity with CRMs, ATS platforms, and reporting dashboards Why This Role Is Different Early-stage equity with meaningful ownership Direct collaboration with founders Clear performance metrics and impact visibility Opportunity to help define the operating model from the ground up DL533
