Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Founding Software Engineer in the United States. We are seeking a highly motivated Founding Software Engineer to join a pioneering team building the world’s first global crypto jackpot platform. This is a high-ownership role where you will help shape the company’s technical strategy, architecture, and engineering culture from the ground up. You will work across frontend, backend, and developer experience, building scalable applications that serve millions of users globally. As part of the founding team, you will contribute to product strategy, hiring, and cross-functional initiatives while ensuring high-quality, performant software. This role offers the opportunity to influence the company’s long-term vision and work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Candidates must be comfortable with remote work, US timezones, and occasional team offsites. Accountabilities: · Build and maintain the core application, ensuring usability and performance for a global user base. · Design and develop scalable backend infrastructure and APIs for first-party and third-party integrations. · Support developer experience, including SDKs, documentation, and embedding our jackpot system. · Collaborate on product, design, go-to-market, and compliance decisions as a founding team member. · Contribute to hiring and establishing company culture, mentorship, and engineering best practices. · Participate in quarterly offsites and remote collaboration to align team strategy and execution. · 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. · Proven experience building applications at scale (1M+ users) and contributing to startups. · Strong proficiency in modern tech stacks such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, Redis, or similar. · Hands-on experience with backend systems, APIs, and developer tools. · Ability to operate independently, take ownership, and make decisions across multiple domains. · Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in a remote/distributed environment. · US-based timezone (Eastern to Pacific) and availability for occasional travel to team offsites. · Salary range: $125,000 – $225,000 per year. · Exceptional equity grant: 1.25% – 2%+ with a favorable 7-year exercise window. · Token warrants included as part of the compensation package. · Fully remote work with unlimited paid time off (PTO). · Top-tier medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents. · Quarterly weeklong offsites to foster team collaboration and culture. · Higher salary and equity than typical startups, with opportunities to shape company growth.
