Fort Vale Engineering Ltd, based in Simonstone are the World Leader in the design and manufacture of Container Tank Equipment. We are currently looking for a Foundry Operative to join the team in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

  • Working within the Foundry environment is beneficial
  • Experience with machining can be beneficial
  • Having knowledge of the Foundry processes e.g. casting shelling process, shell making parameters, and robotic shell manufacture is advantageous

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

  • Permanent and Full Time (38 hours per week)
  • Predominantly working on the day shift (Monday to Thursday 07:30 am - 04:15 pm and Friday 07:30 am - 12:30 pm)
    As a Foundry Operative, you will play a key role in the continuous process involved in the supply of finished Fort Vale components which begins with the identification of customer need and ends with the delivery of customer satisfaction. The production of components begins with the castings at the Foundry. It is extremely important that FO’s understand the significance of their role within the Foundry and the continuous process of manufacturing at Fort Vale Engineering Ltd.
    We are looking for someone to work in Wax Production. Working in such a small team it will be requirement that FO’s work across all areas of the Foundry and will be willing to train on other equipment.
